Hampton Properties Ltd. was established in 1992 by Mr. Kennedy as a real estate organization affiliated with The Kennedy Law
Firm. Both Hampton Properties Ltd. and the Kennedy Law Firm are located in Petoskey, Michigan.
Hampton Properties acts as a buyer's broker or a seller's broker of Northern Michigan real estate for The Kennedy Law Firm's clients as well as for
those individuals who are not legal clients but who desire the advantage of brokerage services by a realty firm that has the backing of a law firm.
Our offerings of both real estate brokerage and legal services from a single source is patterned after Europe's traditions of 'Solicitors' also being
'Estate Agents'. (The office signs of those Old World law firms often advertise themselves today as "Solicitors, Estate Agents and Notaries" and

customary legal services to Hampton's customer who is involved in the transaction. The representation starts with the customers' first involvement
with a transaction and continues until it is closed. Only realty firms whose brokers are also lawyers provide that legal talent to a real estate transaction.
Talent Pool: Hampton Properties Ltd. has three realtors, working as a team, serving its customers from throughout Northern Michigan and
around the world. They are: Mr. Michael Kennedy (Broker and Chairman of the Board), Mrs. Robin Burmeister (Salesperson and President) and Mr.

The Kennedy Law Firm was established in 1978 by Michael Kennedy. Upon graduating from Wayne State University Law School in
1974, Mr. Kennedy first practiced law as a United States Judge Advocate in federal courts, and worked on Environmental Protection Agency issues.
Thereafter, he returned to his northern Michigan home town of Petoskey to begin his private practice as a Michigan attorney.
The Kennedy Law Firm emphasizes the practice of all probate, estate and real estate law. On matters, for example, of condominium law, land
development, and the buying and selling of property, Michael Kennedy has been an expert witness, counselor, or speaker to foundations, banks,
